Garlic Matzah is Passover's answer to garlic bread. The matzah is sprinkled with water to soften slightly, brushed with a quick paste of garlic and oil from the food processor, and broiled for a minute or two until golden.

Serve it hot with soup or a Passover meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 pieces of matzah
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Instructions

  1. Moisten. Sprinkle the matzah with the water and let stand for 5 minutes.
  2. Make the paste. Put the oil and garlic in a food processor with the steel blade and process into a thin paste.
  3. Brush. Cut the matzah into 4 pieces and brush each piece with the paste.
  4. Broil. Broil 1 to 2 minutes until golden. Serve hot.

Tips

  • Watch it constantly under the broiler; it goes from golden to burnt very fast.
