Brigadeiros are Brazil's favorite party sweet: condensed milk cooked with cocoa until it thickens into a fudgy dough. Sweetened condensed coconut milk works the same way and adds a faint coconut flavor that suits the chocolate.
Cook it until it pulls away from the pan in one mass, then chill before rolling.
Estimated per brigadeiro (the recipe makes about 20 brigadeiros), using USDA FoodData Central values for each ingredient. Net carbs are carbohydrates minus fiber. Optional ingredients, garnishes and anything served on the side are not included, and marinades are counted at about a third because most is discarded. Brands and portion sizes change the numbers.
