Sandra Mills called this one Pier 4 Cheese Spread, and it makes a generous batch: four containers of Wispride Cheddar spread whipped with cream cheese, butter, white horseradish, Worcestershire sauce and sherry until light and fluffy.

In her words: "I make this and put it in nice containers or crocks to give as gifts." It is a perfect holiday hostess gift with a box of crackers.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 pound cream cheese
  • 1 stick of butter
  • 4 (8 ounce) containers of Wispride Cheddar Cheese Spread
  • 1 teaspoon white horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 ounce sherry

Instructions

  1. Cream. In a small mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and butter.
  2. Whip. Add the Cheddar cheese and remaining ingredients and whip with an electric mixer until fluffy.
  3. Serve. Serve with crackers, or pack into containers or crocks to give as gifts.

Tips

  • Start with the cream cheese and butter at room temperature for the fluffiest texture.
  • Keep gift crocks refrigerated and let the spread soften for 20 minutes before serving.
